New features and enhancements

  • New dashboard platform - Beta release

Trellix Email Security - Cloud now includes a new dashboard platform on the portal. The new dashboard platform provides a centralized view of your security data. You can customize layouts to monitor email insights and threat management tasks efficiently.

    • Customizable Layouts: Build a custom workspace by adding, deleting, renaming, or rearranging widgets.

    • System Dashboards: Access pre-configured views for Email Insights, Threat Management, and Executive Overviews.

    • Collaborative Intelligence: create private dashboards to manage individual investigations. You can also publish and share custom views with your team to maintain consistency across threat investigations.

    • Advanced Filtering: Apply and save specific views to quickly pivot between different data sets.

  • Pendo integration with Trellix Email Security - Cloud

Trellix Email Security - Cloud is now integrated with Pendo to monitor user interaction within the portal. This data helps Trellix improve the customer experience through targeted feature guides, banners, and feedback requests.

  • Managing DMARC reports

Manage DMARC reports with these new capabilities:

    • Export all or individual domain details as a .csv file using the Export button.

    • View email records in the DMARC Domain details page in a table.

    • View and download XML files for each domain record using the View XML file button in the Reporter column.

  • Validation for phishing simulator campaign duration

Trellix Email Security - Cloud now validates that the business end time is later than the start time for phishing simulator campaigns. You need to select a start time from 0–23 hours and an end time from 1–24 hours.

  • Updates in quarantine reports

The interfaces of quarantine reports and notification templates are updated for better usability in this release.

    • Create and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Violation Notification Templates in Notification Template > Create Notification Template.

    • Enable or disable reporting for emails with DLP violations in Quarantine Report Setting > End User Features in outbound mode.

    • Enable/disable or select a DLP Violation Notification Template in the Instant Notification tab in Quarantine Report Setting > Email Notification in outbound mode.

    • The inbound Instant Notification Template is now named as Encrypted Attachment Notification Template.

    • View the status of instant notifications for a domain in Domain Settings > Policies - Outbound.

  • New columns in email campaigns

The Email Campaigns page now shows the summary and attached screenshot for each campaign in the respective columns.

  • Removing inactive users

Trellix IAM administrators assigned with Trellix Account Administrator role can now delete inactive users and client credentials in Manage > Administrator with the Sync with Trellix IAM button. Email Security - Cloud verifies the users against the Trellix Identity and Access Management (IAM) list to identify and remove inactive accounts.

  • Webhook support for queue threshold notifications

Trellix Email Security - Cloud now supports webhooks for queue threshold notifications. This prevents delivery delays caused by Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) congestion.

    • Create an incoming webhook URL to receive notifications in a dedicated channel.

    • Add, manage, and test webhook integrations in the Third-party Integrations > Webhook.

    • You can currently add webhooks of Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat to receive queue threshold notifications.

  • IPv6 Support for portal and on-demand quarantine access

Administrators can now add IPv6 network locations to authorize portal access and quarantine management. Go to Additional Settings > Portal Access to add your list of IP addresses.

  • On enabling the notification tag in Email Trace, you can now trace the following features:

    • Dashboard reports

    • Rate limiting
