About support and content license sharing combinations

Prev Next

Trellix offers sharing options for your Support and Content Updates licenses. The following table shows the content that is uploaded to the DTI cloud with each license sharing combination.

The Support license sharing option determines whether telemetry and statistics are uploaded. The Content Updates license sharing option determines whether security content and AV-Suite and FAUDE requests are uploaded.

Note

For a description of the uploaded content types, see About DTI network communication . For a description of the licenses, see About license keys.

Note

By default, FAUDE and Global Cache local intel feeds allow appliances to improve detection without overriding their one-way sharing Content Updates license and without directly accessing FAUDE or the Global Cache. For details and for information about disabling or re-enabling the feeds, see Local Intel Feeds for One-Way Content Sharing .
