The Email Security — Server appliance protects enterprises against email-borne threats, spear phishing, and targeted malware attacks. It protects against malicious attachments that are in permitted file formats such as DOC, DLL, CHM, XLS, RAR, ZIP, and PDF by scanning attachments in emails entering the enterprise in real-time. It protects against malicious URLs by performing a rules-based content match against all URLs embedded in emails. After malware is identified, the Email Security — Server appliance stores the malicious emails in a quarantine folder accessible only by the Email Security — Server administrator, and it can block malicious emails from being delivered to the intended recipients.
