To improve performance, you can add suitable applications to the Trusted category in the DLP Policy Manager so that Trellix Data Loss Prevention – SaaS doesn't analyze files opened or created by these applications. This applies to applications that don't change files constantly, such as antivirus or malware protection software, indexing services, or Microsoft Windows updates.
In ePO - SaaS, select Menu → Data Protection → DLP Policy Manager.
Go to Definitions → Application Template.
Click Actions → New Item.
Enter a name and description for the template.
From the Process Strategy drop-down list, select Trusted.
Select whether the application is Windows or macOS.
From the Analyze memory mapped file drop-down list, select Disable. The default value is Disable.
From the Available Properties panel, select all applicable parameters and provide values for the same. Parameters can include product and vendor names.
Click Save.
