Determine how the sensor handles a specific DBMS by setting the action to start or stop monitoring the database.
Click the Sensors page.
Select the sensor in the Sensors list.
The DBMSs monitored by the selected sensor are listed in DBMSs detected by.
In the required DBMS row, set one of these monitoring actions:
Click Start Monitoring to set the sensor to monitor a DBMS, then select the DBMSs to be monitored on the Approve DBMS page.
Click Manage DBMS, select the DBMSs to be monitored and click Save.
Click Stop Monitoring to set the sensor to stop monitoring a DBMS.
Important
To improve the performance of a DBMS instance at the time of database maintenance, stop the sensor DBMS monitoring before database maintenance starts so that it will not interfere with the maintenance process. You can resume DBMS monitoring after database maintenance is complete.
