New features and Enhancements
Support to databases on AWS RDS: Trellix Database Security now supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB databases hosted on AWS RDS, helping users to manage and protect their cloud databases by enabling respective plug-ins on RDS.
Features supported on AWS RDS:
Monitor, log, and control database access.
Identify potential threats in real-time.
Track activity of authorized and privileged users.
Create custom security policies.

Improved Performance: Trellix Database Security sensor now processes queries faster, allowing quicker detection of activities on the database. The sensor’s performance is enhanced to handle 10,000 queries per second, a 5x improvement over previous benchmark. It also reduces sensor latency, helping customers get quicker threat detection and response. For more information, see article 000014420.
Update to licensing: This release updates the license enforcement for all license types (All, Enterprise, Vulnerability Assessment, and VPatch). For more information, see article 000014422.

Server package
A new server package is released for Trellix Database Security. For more information on server supported platforms, See article 000005900.
Sensor package
A new sensor package is released for Trellix Database Security. For more information on sensor supported platforms, See article 000013243.
Note
Linux rpm (32bit) and Linux Debian (32bit) are not compatible with Trellix Database Security 10.2.0.
