DBMS tab

The DBMS tab lists the DBMSs currently monitored by the Database Security sensors.

Option	Definition
Edit Filters	Allows you to filter the DBMS list to display data that matches specific criteria.
Actions	Add actions — Apply actions to multiple DBMS. Remove actions — Remove actions for multiple DBMS. Add DBMS from TNS — Oracle databases can be added for vulnerability assessment by uploading their tnsnames.ora file.
Add VA DBMS	Allows you to configure multiple DBMSs for vulnerability assessment.
DBMS list
VA	Indicates the database is configured for Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) and vulnerability assessment (VA).
DAM
DBMS	The name of the DBMS.
Host Name/IP	The name of the host where the DBMS is installed.
Type	The DBMS type.
Version	The DBMS version.
Description	A brief description of the DBMS.
Status	The current monitoring status: Add actions — Apply an action to multiple DBMS. Fully Monitored — The DBMS is fully monitored, that is, all sensors monitoring the DBMS are up and running (more than one sensor monitors a single DBMS if the DBMS is clustered). Not Monitored — There is no connection with any of the sensors monitoring the DBMS. Partly Monitored — These are clustered DBMSs where only some members are currently monitored.
Action	— View or edit the database configuration. — Delete the database.
