Name

Replace the default name with a unique name for the device description. This field is required.

Description

Optional text box for additional information.

Device GUID

Text box for adding a GUID.

Note

GUIDs must be unique, and must be entered in the correct format.

Type

Predefined as User Defined Device Class

Status

Default is Managed. In most cases, accept the default setting.

Filter Type

Upper or lower. Most devices use the upper filter.
