You can include AD users as administrators and allow more users to manage the appliances. You can add a maximum of 5 users with administrator privileges. It is possible to assign users as appliance administrators from only one external AD server.

For External AD Authentication, the system utilizes Kerberos V5 to communicate with the LDAP server via UDP port 88 to authenticate configured users. It is necessary to ensure that Kerberos is enabled on the Active Directory server and that the appliance is permitted to communicate over UDP port 88 with the AD server.
To include appliance administrators:
In Trellix ePO - On-prem, go to Menu → Policy Catalog.
Select DLP Appliance Management <version>, choose Users and Groups, and open the policy you want to edit.
Browse to Appliance Administrators and click + to add users registered with the AD servers.
In the Select Users dialog box, go to Look in to select the required AD server. Under the Systems group, click Users and click the checkboxes to select users. Click OK and then Save.
To push the changes to the appliance immediately, in System Tree → Systems, select the appliance and click Wake Up Agents.
In the Wake Up Trellix Agent page, select the Force complete policy and task update checkbox and continue to use the other default settings. Click OK.
