You can migrate the Trellix DLP Endpoint policies and settings from ePO - On-prem to ePO - SaaS using the Trellix DLP Backup & Restore feature or the ePO - SaaS Migration tool. When the migration is completed, a migration report is generated for analyzing any errors that occurred during the migration process.
Follow these steps when performing a migration:
Upgrade your Trellix DLP Endpoint client software to version 11.5 or higher.
Back up and restore your data using one of these methods:
Use the Trellix DLP Backup and Restore feature. For more information, see Backup and Restore
Use the ePO - SaaS Migration tool. For more information, see the ePO - SaaS documentation.
Note
Trellix DLP Endpoint requires ePO - SaaS migration extension version 5.10.0 874 or later.
In ePO - SaaS, review the Restore report in DLP Settings → Backup & Restore tab.
Important
Make sure you review your policies before applying them since certain features from Trellix DLP on-premises are currently not supported.
