Database Security provides protection for the DBMSs where Database Security sensors have been installed as well as DBMSs available for VA scans.
The monitoring policy for a DBMS comprises of various rules that are enabled and applied on that DBMS. After installing a Database Security sensor on a DBMS host server, if more than one DBMS is installed on the host, the DBMS must be approved in the Database Security configuration before a monitoring policy can be applied to it.
