Power cycling and resetting the device

This procedure describes how to use the IPMI interface to power cycle the Email Security - Server appliance.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in to the appliance IPMI.

To cycle power or reset the server:

  1. Click the Remote Control tab.

  2. Click Power Control in the sidebar.

  3. Select the option you need:

    • Reset Server

    • Power Off Server – Immediate

    • Power Off Server – Orderly Shutdown

    • Power On Server

    • Power Cycle Server

  4. Click Perform Action.
