Preventing data leaks via collaboration tools and enterprise applications using IVX Enterprise Cloud

Goal: To establish an integrated solution which secures your cloud applications from malware, zero-day exploits, prevents sensitive information from leaving the organization and stops attacks before they can compromise systems and data.

Solution: Integrate Trellix DLP with IVX - Cloud to enforce DLP rules across your organization's cloud services. This integration establishes a unified defense against inbound threats and outbound data loss. It also centralizes management, allowing you to configure DLP rules and applying them directly from the Trellix ePO - SaaS platform.

Configure Trellix DLP rules

Create DLP rule sets.
1. In ePO - SaaS, go to Menu → Data protection → DLP Policy Manager.
2. Click the Rule Sets tab and select Actions → New Rule Set.
3. Enter the name and optional description, then click OK.
Create rules and assign them to rule sets.
1. Navigate to DLP Policy Manager → Rule Sets → Actions → New rule → Cloud protection.
2. Name the rule and set its state to Enabled.
3. Under the Enforce on section, check the Trellix DLP Integrations check box.
4. On the Condition tab, update the information as required and select the cloud service that you want to protect.
5. On the Reaction tab, go to the Trellix DLP Integrations section, update the Action and Report Incident row as required, and click Save.
Assign rule sets to a policy.
1. Create a Policy.
  First create a policy to apply the rule set to. For more information, see Create a Policy.
2. Enable the policy on the DLP settings page.
  1. Go to DLP settings → Integrations tab.
  2. Check the Enable Integrations check box.
  3. Under DLP Policy Pushed drop down, select the policy that you created.
3. Assign rule sets to the policy.
  1. Go to Policy Assignment → Actions → Assign Rule sets to a Policy.
  2. Select the Policy and the Rule set that you want to assign and click OK.
  3. Go to Assign Rule sets to a Policy → Actions → Apply selected Policies.
  4. On the confirmation pop-up screen, click OK to complete the assignment.
