Define Trellix DLP settings in the DLP Appliance Management, Data Loss Prevention, and Common Appliance Management products in the Policy Catalog.
DLP Appliance Management
Use the options in the DLP Appliance Management category with Trellix DLP Network appliances to set policies. You can perform tasks such as specifying a Smart Host or ICAP clients, enabling authenticated email submission, or specifying Trellix DLP Network Monitor and , or enabling the Trellix DLP Capture settings. You can also set up load balancing and timeout settings, and the LDAP servers that you want to get user information from.
Data Loss Prevention
Use the Server Configuration policy category to edit the Evidence Copy Service and OCR settings to work with Trellix DLP Network appliances.
The Maximum evidence transmission bandwidth (KBps) option in Client Settings doesn't apply to Trellix DLP Network appliances.
Common Appliance Management
Specify DNS settings, static route settings, and remote logging servers. You can also edit the appliance date and time and enable SNMP alerts and monitoring.
Configuring Proxy Settings
Some functions of Trellix DLP Network appliances and DLP Discover servers require connectivity to services on the internet. Where a direct connection to these services is not available, you can configure proxy settings through ePO - On-prem.
