You can use the serial console to install the appliance software only.
Note
By default, the serial console is turned off in Trellix DLP 8800 appliance. Contact the Technical Support to unlock the BIOS and then enable the serial console. The BIOS is password protected, by default.
You must use another method, such as the RMM, to configure network settings and register the appliance with management platform. You can enable the RMM through the serial console.
Note
Installation progress does not appear when using the serial console.
