New or changed features
Support for Fiber Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Network Interface Card (NIC) — Trellix DLP Network Monitor - SaaS appliances now support Fiber SFP-10G-SR (Short Range) and LR (Long Range) transceivers, which enable high-speed data transmission. This hot-pluggable module can be inserted into or removed from a port without having to power down the appliance (hot-swappable) and connect using fiber optic cable.

Support for MIP through proxy settings — Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) SDK integration with Trellix DLP Network Monitor - SaaS now supports communication with Azure services through a network proxy, which has to be updated in the MIP configuration settings. Installation information
Trellix Network Appliance upgrade requirement — Trellix DLP Extension 11.13.0.45 is incompatible with previous versions of the Trellix DLP Network Appliance. To ensure successful installation and proper functionality of the new extension, upgrade the Trellix DLP Network Appliance to the latest supported version.
PostgreSQL is upgraded to version 16.4 for DLP Capture databases, which requires a database upgrade. Upgrading Trellix DLP Network Monitor from version 11.0.x to version 11.11.100 with DLP Capture disks might take up to 3 hours. Allocate sufficient time for the upgrade process.
