Common ports

Serial —

Use these connection settings:

  • Baud rate — 115200

  • Data bits — 8

  • Stop bits — 1

  • Parity — None

  • Flow control — None

USB — Use one of the USB ports to connect to the Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array console port using the provided USB-to-serial port adapter.

Remote Management Module (RMM)

Power supplies

RAID port (available only when the RAID controller is installed) — Connects the RAID controller to Trellix DLP Capture Storage Array through the provided mini-SAS cable.

Network port assignments

OOB port — Out-of-band management traffic such as ePO - On-prem or ePO - SaaS management.

LAN 1 port — (10 GBase-T)

  • Data traffic for scanning

  • (Optional) Management traffic

LAN 2 port — Not applicable to Trellix DLP Network Prevent appliance. It is used as capture port 1 in Trellix DLP Network Monitor appliance.
