To ensure a successful uninstallation of Database Security server on Windows platform, take the following precautions:
Check that no other user on the system is running Database Security server.
Check that no other user is accessing file resources related to Database Security server.
Make sure that the operating system account that is used to uninstall Database Security server has administrator privileges.
Perform the following steps to uninstall server on Windows platform:
Launch the Start menu and open Settings. Then, go to Apps & features.
Navigate to Trellix Database Security.
Click Uninstall beside the selected server.
Trellix Database Security. uninstallation wizard is displayed. Click Uninstall to continue.
Note
If you continue with the uninstallation process, a progress dialog box appears. After some time, another dialog box appears.
This Yes/No dialog determines whether to remove alerts and configurations related to Database Security. Click Yes button to remove these, or No button to retain them.
When the progress dialog completes, click Close.
Click OK to exit the wizard on successful uninstallation of the software.
Reboot the system to completely remove the software from the system.
The Database Security server on Windows platform is uninstalled successfully.
