After upgrading the Database Security server, update sensors which are available on the Updates/Software Updates tab to the compatible relative version of the new server.
Make sure that the sensor you want to update is connected.
The sensors are listed on the Updates/Software Updates tab, including information regarding the most recent available update for each sensor.
Click Check for new Trellix Database Security sensors to receive the latest information.

On the Updates/Software Updates tab, select the sensors that are required to update, then click Remote update.
All sensors are updated. The status of the sensor changes from New to Pending, then to Uploading, Installing and finally to Up-to-date.
If you choose to manually update the sensor, log on to the sensor system, and follow the sensor installation instructions provided in this document. To retain the current configuration, upgrade to the new version without uninstalling the current version (such as server IP address or listening port).
Note
If Database Security server is not connected to the internet or you do not want to receive updates automatically, download the latest sensor installers from the support portal and continue to update manually.
