Use this command to prevent users from setting a password that matches their username.
For stricter password security, you can require users to select a password that is not the same as their username. For more information, see the System Administration Guide or Central Management System Administration Guide.
Syntax
[no] authentication password local no-userid
Parameters
<term>no</term>
Restores the default behavior, where the username and password can match.
Example
This example specifies that the password must be different from the username.
hostname (config) # aaa authentication password local no-userid
