Before you can upgrade, you must add the Solidcore client package to the ePO - On-prem repository. You can add it automatically using Software Catalog.

On the ePO - On-prem console, select Menu → Software → Software Catalog.
From the Products category list, select Endpoint Security, then select one of the below products:
Trellix Application Control 8.x.x
Trellix Change Control 8.x.x
Select the package you want to install.
For ePO - On-prem 5.9 or earlier, select the build you want to install under Components. Verify the build number under Available Version and Additional Check In Details.
Click Update for the Solidcore Client for Windows 8.x.x package.
On the Update page, click Update.
