The Admin menu contains the following options. The functionality shown in your environment might vary, based on the role assigned to your user account and based on the Trellix licenses you have installed.

Description

Host Sets

Displays the Host Sets page on which you can create groups, or sets, of hosts. For example, you can use a host set to group hosts that are considered high-value hosts. See Host Sets page .

High-Value Hosts

Displays the High-Value Hosts page on which you can select hosts sets containing hosts that are of high value to your organization. See High-Value Hosts page .

Policies

Displays the Policies page from which you can dynamically configure Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent functionality. See Policy settings .

Agent Settings

Displays the Agent Settings page, which allows you to manage Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent software versions, the server address list used by agents, agent polling settings, agent removal protection, quarantined file aging, scan settings, and proxy settings.

Agent Versions

Displays available Agent versions page and provides a link to download the Agent installer. See Agent Versions tab .

Agent Upgrade

Displays the Agent Upgrade page, which allows you to create and manage Endpoint Security (HX) xAgent software upgrade jobs. See Agent Upgrade page .

Containment Settings

Displays the Containment Settings page, which allows you to control the Endpoint Security (HX) containment feature. See Containment Settings page .

Acquisition Settings

Displays the Acquisition Settings page which allows you to control the Endpoint Security (HX) acquisition feature. See Acquisition Settings page .

Data Acquisition Scripts

Displays the Data Acquisition Scripts page, which allows you to create and manage data acquisition requests. See Data Acquisition Scripts page .

Disk Utilization Limits

Displays the Disk Utilization Limits page, which allows you to allot a set amount of disk space for triage collections, file acquisitions, and data acquisitions. See Disk Utilization Limits page .

Aging Settings

Displays the Aging Settings page, which allows you to set indicator, alert, and host aging settings. See Aging Settings page .

Appliance Settings

Displays the Appliance Settings page, which allows you to manage appliance settings. These include the appliance date and time, user accounts, DTI information, notifications, network settings, certificates, keys, backup/restore, licenses, and the login banner. See Appliance Settings page .

Alert Settings

Displays the Alert Settings page, which allows you to specify the maximum number of alert messages received for a single infection name for a defined interval of time for any of the alert types on the page. See Alert Settings page .

Triage Settings

Displays the Automatic Triage Settings page, which allows you to configure automatic triage acquisition settings for alerts, and the amount of time before and after the event timestamp during which registry audit and URL event collection is captured. See Automatic Triage Settings page .
