Configure end-user notifications. The settings on this page determine the customized notification message displayed on the endpoints for the various Application Control events.

User Message

Use the option Show the messages dialog box when an event is detected and display the specified text in the message to display a message box at the endpoint each time an event is generated.

Helpdesk Information

Allows you to specify help desk information that is displayed on the endpoints.

  • Mail to — Specifies the email address where all approval requests (from endpoints) are sent.

  • Mail Subject — Specifies the subject of the email message sent for approval requests (from endpoints).

  • Link to Website — Indicates the website listed in the Application and Change Control Events window on the endpoints.

  • Trellix ePO IP Address and Port — Specifies the ePO - On-prem server address and port.

Messages

Customize the messages displayed for the ActiveX Installation Prevented, Blocked Interactive Mode of Process, Execution Denied, Nx Violation Detected, Installation Denied, Prevented File Execution, Process Hijack Attempted, File Read Denied, VASR Violation Detected, and File Write Denied events by using these options:

  • Message — Specifies the message text for the event.

  • Insert Variable — Allows you to add variables to the notification message.

  • Insert — Adds the selected variable to the message text.

  • Show Event in Dialog — Indicates if all events of the selected event type are listed in the Application and Change Control Events window on the endpoints.
