Policies are applied to systems based on how often the agent communicates with the server. By default, the agent-server communication occurs every 60 minutes. If your organization handles critical functions, you may need to set a more frequent interval.
In general, if your environment includes these variables, you want to perform agent-server communications less often.
A large number of systems managed by Trellix ePO.
Your organization has stringent threat response requirements.

Select Menu → Policy → Policy Catolog .
From Products, select Trellix Agent → General. Click Edit to update a policy.
In the General tab, go to Agent-server communication.
Specify the required time interval in Agent-to-server communication interval (minutes) field and click Save.
After you configure policy settings, the new settings are applied to specified managed systems at the next agent-server communication. If you want to change the settings of a default policy, you need to duplicate the policy and rename it. Make the required changes and reassign the policy to the managed systems. The next time an agent-server communication occurs, the new policy is applied to these systems.
