This command automatically deletes the oldest local backup file (when the backup files limit specified for your appliance is crossed) and then backs up the appliance.
Syntax
backup profile <profile> to local auto-delete-old
Parameters
profile
The profile used to back up the appliance data. The following profiles are available:
config– Backs up the configuration database and appliance-specific data.fedb– Backs up the Trellix appliance database.Note
This profile is not available on Central Management System appliances.
config+fedb– Backs up the configuration database, the Trellix appliance database, and appliance-specific data.Note
This profile is not available on Central Management System appliances.
full– Backs up the configuration database, Trellix appliance database, and detected data (malware, alerts, reports, and so on).Note
This profile is not available on Central Management System appliances.
Example
The following example automatically deletes the oldest local backup file (when the backup files limit specified for your appliance is crossed) and then backs up the configuration database of the appliance:
