Enables the file inspection feature that allows the Network Security appliance to calculate MD5 hashes that are detected in network traffic. The Network Security appliance can block or allow traffic that matches a blacklist.
This command is not supported onthe SmartVision Edition appliances, which are Network Security appliances with SmartVision edition appliance licenses. The SmartVision Edition sensor is also called Trellix Network Security, SmartVision Edition.
This command is not supported on Trellix NX 10000 models
By default, one file hash feed must be available so that the Network Security appliance can calculate MD5 hashes. If you do not want to impact appliance performance, you can stop calculating the MD5 hashes on the Network Security appliance.

Use the no form of this command to disable calculating MD5 hashes.
