clear arp-cache

Removes the dynamic entries from the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) cache.

Note

This command does not remove static links added to the cache with the arp command.

Syntax

clear arp-cache

Parameters

None

Example

The following example clears the ARP cache.

hostname # clear arp-cache
