Image deviation is used to compare the inventory of an endpoint with the inventory that is fetched from a designated gold system. This helps you to track the inventory present on an endpoint and identify any differences that occur.
Fetch the inventory for your gold host.
Fetch the inventory for the endpoint.
Review the Menu → Automation → Solidcore Client Task Log page to make sure that both client tasks completed successfully.
Compare the inventory of gold host with the inventory of the endpoint. This is known as Image Deviation.
Review the comparison results.
