You can enable or disable deferred scans using these commands.

To enable deferred scan, run:
/opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin/mfetpcli --setdeferredscan enable
To disable deferred scan, run:
/opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin/mfetpcli --setdeferredscan disable
Note
You can view updated status of deferred scan only after restating the service.
To view the status of deferred scan, run:
/opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin/mfetpcli --getdeferredscan
