At a specified interval, the agent establishes a secure connection with the server and downloads the latest configuration. The agent configuration file update frequency can be set the Web UI and the API.
Valid values for the configuration update frequency range from 60 to 86400 seconds (one minute to one day). The agent configuration file update frequency distributed with the Endpoint Security (HX) software is 900 seconds (15 minutes).
