You can define an xAgent resource use policy that restricts general resource use by the xAgent . Define global policy settings for all host sets or create a custom policy for selected host sets in your environment. The resource limits defined in the xAgent default policy apply to all host endpoints in your enterprise unless they are included in a custom exception policy.
You can define global policy resource limits for CPU, priority scheduling, and event storage use.
You can define exception policy resource limits for CPU, automatic triage, priority scheduling, and event storage use for selected host sets.

The installed xAgent version must be version 20 or later. If an xAgent for an earlier release is included in a host set that is controlled by a policy, the policy is ignored for that xAgent .
