Converting an on-premises HXD appliance into a TCP relay

Prev Next To convert an on-premises HXD appliance into a TCP relay for the on-premises HX appliance using the CLI:
Log in to the on-premises HXD appliance using the SSH protocol and the IP address or host name of the appliance's management interface.
Enable CLI configuration mode.
hostname > enable
hostname # configure terminal
Convert the on-premises HXD appliance into a TCP relay to the on-premises HX appliance:
hostname # hx rproxy relay <ip address>
where <ip address> is the public IP address of the on-premises HX appliance.
Save your changes:
hostname (config) # write memory
Note
If the HXD appliance is in relay mode when it is upgraded, relay mode must be reenabled after the upgrade completes.
