In Windows environments, upload the .cms file for the version of the agent on the host endpoint to the Endpoint Security (HX). The file must be visible on the Agent Versions page of the Endpoint Security (HX) Web UI.
The containment driver is in the agent .cms file. When containment of a host endpoint is requested, the Endpoint Security (HX) updates the .cms file and sends the file to the endpoint. Consequently, if the Endpoint Security (HX) does not have the correct .cms file downloaded, the host cannot be contained.
In macOS environments, this is not necessary because macOS endpoints have the required driver installed with the agent.
