Configures the specified HTTP receiver to receive the metadata streaming events using basic authentication or token authentication.

[no] datastreaming configuration protocol http consumers <service_name> auth method <method>
Parameters

Use the no form of this command to disable the configured authentication method.
<service_name>
The name of the service.
<method>
The authentication method; can be one of:
TOKEN—Prompts user to enter a software token
BASIC—Prompts user to enter a user name and password.
Example
The following example specifies the name of the HTTP receiver and configures it to use the token authentication method:
hostname (config) # datastreaming configuration protocol http consumers cm7.saturn.example.com auth method TOKEN
The following example disables the configured token authentication:
hostname (config) # no datastreaming configuration protocol http consumers cm7.saturn.example.com auth TOKEN
