Overview
This endpoint permanently deletes an investigation case and its associated data. Use the unique investigations-id to target a case for removal. A successful request is irreversible and returns a 204 No Content response. Use this API for removing old cases after a retention period or deleting confirmed false positives that no longer require review. This API helps enforce data retention policies and reduces clutter, keeping your investigation queue focused on active threats.
Authentication
Authentication type: Bearer Token, API Key.
You can create a token using client credentials obtained through the developer portal. The API Key (x-api-key) is provided in your onboarding email or on the API Access Management page.
