You can remove Trellix Agent from a group of systems by deleting the group from System Tree. This is the primary method for performing a bulk uninstallation of the agent from the Trellix ePO console.
Caution
When you delete a group, all its child groups and systems are also deleted.
Important
For ePO - SaaS: The standard deletion steps below will remove the agent.
For ePO - On-prem: You must uninstall all point products (such as Trellix Endpoint Security) from the client systems before deleting the group.
If point products are not uninstalled first, the Trellix Agent will not be removed. Instead, it will convert to unmanaged mode to continue supporting the remaining products.
On ePO - On-prem, select → → , then select a group to be deleted.
At the bottom of the page, select → .
Select Remove Trellix Agent on next agent-server communication from all systems, then click OK. Trellix Agent is removed from the system during the next Agent-server communication.
