You can use a deployment task in Trellix ePO - On-prem 5.10.x or 5.9.x to upgrade to Trellix ENS 26.x on multiple endpoints.
When there is a reboot pending related to operating system updates, previous installs, or third-party application changes on the endpoints with Trellix Agent 5.7.4 or later, install or upgrade of Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) on those endpoints will not occur until the operating system is rebooted. Endpoints will proactively report the reboot pending status to ePO - On-prem. You can query the reboot pending status across multiple systems and it can be viewed in ePO - On-prem dashboards and reports.
Product deployment tasks are the simplest type of task to set up.

For the Intel architectures, you can directly upgrade to version 26.x from version 10.7.0 (November 2022) or later. For the ARM architectures, the upgrades are not supported and upgrade section is not applicable, refer 000014791 for details.
When deploying Trellix ENS on Windows Server 2016, version 1803 or newer, or Windows Server 2019, the Windows Defender installed on your endpoints are disabled automatically. If the endpoints are installed with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Windows Server, version 1803 or newer, or Windows Server 2019, then Windows Defender is set to passive mode automatically.
In ePO - On-prem, select Menu → Software → Product Deployment.
On the Product Deployment page, click New Deployment.
On the New Deployment page:
Enter a name for the deployment.
Select each module you want to deploy from the Package drop-down list, clicking + Add another package each time you want to select another one. Trellix ENS Platform is required for other modules to be installed.
Select the endpoints to deploy to.
Configure any other settings, then click Save at the top of the page. The Product Deployment page opens with your new project added to the list of deployments. Also, a client task is automatically created with the deployment settings.
Check the status of the deployment on the Product Deployment page. From the list on the left side of the page, click the deployment task to display its details.
To verify that Trellix ENS installed on your endpoints, select Menu → Reporting → Dashboards, then select Endpoint Security: Installation Status. Check that version 26.xxxx is installed on the correct number of endpoints.
