Configures the transport layer security (TLS) receiving mode options to provide communications over a computer network. For details about TLS, refer to the Email Security — Server User Guide.
Syntax
email-analysis tls receive {none | opportunistic | mandatory}
Parameters
noneWhen enabled in receiving mode, no connections are configured with TLS
opportunisticWhen enabled in receiving mode, the connection accepts emails that are either TLS-encrypted or not TLS-encrypted.
mandatoryWhen enabled in receiving mode, TLS configuration is required for all connections.
Examples
The following example shows how to configure the TLS receiving mode to none.
hostname (config) # email-analysis tls receive none
The following example shows how to configure the TLS receiving mode to opportunistic.
hostname (config) # email-analysis tls receive opportunistic
The following example shows how to configure the TLS receiving mode to mandatory.
