Enable Access Protection

Use Access Protection commands to protect your standalone systems from external attacks. Enable, disable, or view the status of Access Protection using mfetpcli commands.

  1. Log on to the system as a user with administrator rights.

  2. Navigate to the default or custom directory. For example:

    cd /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin

  3. To enable Access Protection, run:

    ./mfetpcli --setapstatus enable

    Note

    To disable Access Protection, run:

    ./mfetpcli --setapstatus disable
