Enable Trellix GTI for on-access scanning to get file reputation from the Trellix GTI database.
You must have enabled On-Access Scan, and the system you intend to enable Trellix GTI must have Internet connection.
Log on to the system as a user with administrator rights.
Navigate to the default or custom directory. For example:
cd /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/binRun the command.
To enable Trellix GTI protection:
./mfetpcli --setoasglobalconfig --gti --state enableNote
When you enable Trellix GTI without specifying the sensitivity level, the default sensitivity level medium is applied.
To enableTrellix GTI protection with a sensitivity level:
./mfetpcli --setoasglobalconfig --gti --state enable --sensitivity verylow
