Extract rpm and deb files from the Trellix ENS for Linux package.

  1. Download the Threat Prevention package McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-Release-standalone.tar.gz

  2. Run these commands:

    • Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-Release-standalone.tar.gz

    • Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-standalone.linux.tar.gz

    • Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeESP-Basic-<version_number>-<build_number>-Full.linux.tar.gz

    • Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeESP-KernelModule-<version_number>-<build_number>-Full.linux.tar.gz
