Configures the default delivery schedule for email notification.

Syntax

fenotify email default delivery <delivery-method>

no fenotify email default delivery [tls-enable | tls-verify]

Parameters

Use the no form of this command to disable the default delivery method.

<delivery-method>

Specify a Guest Images Profile:

  • daily-digest—Information about all events detected in the past 24 hours.

  • per-event—Information about each event, sent when the event is triggered. Only per-event is supported for HX Series appliances.

  • daily-per-source—Information about all events detected in the past 24 hours, with one notification sent for each source IP.

  • hourly-per-source—Information about all events detected in the past hour, with one notification sent for each attacker (source).

  • per-1min-per-source—Information about all events detected in the past minute, with one notification sent for each source IP.

  • per-5min-per-source—Information about all events detected in the past 5 minutes, with one notification sent for each source IP.

  • tls-enable—Enable TLS in email notifications. This option must be specified explicitly when using the no form of the command.

  • tls-verify—Enable TLS verify. This option must be specified explicitly when using the no form of the command.

Example

The following example enables the sending of emailed alert notifications for each event:
