Sets the Internet Protocol (IP) version for notifications. Use this command if the IP protocol of the server is different than the IP protocol of the appliance; otherwise, alert notifications might not be received. This command is available on all appliances.
Syntax
[no] fenotify http service <service-name> prefer ip-version <protocol>
Parameters
no
Use the no form of this command to remove the configuration options currently set.
service-name
A convenient name (nickname) for the Trellix notification consumer of the service.
protocol
Set the IP protocol. Valid settings are ipv4 or ipv6. The default is ipv4.
Example
The following example sets the IP protocol to ipv6:
hostname (config) # fenotify http service jsp prefer ip-version ipv6
