file debug-dump

Deletes, emails, or uploads a system debug file.

Syntax

file debug-dump {deletefile_name | emailfile_name | uploadfile_name url}

Parameters

delete file_name

Full path name of the file to be deleted.

email file_name

Full path name of the file to be emailed to a preconfigured email address.

upload file_name url

Full path name of the file and a URL that specifies where the file is uploaded. The format can be one of the following:

ftp://<domain>/<path>/<file_name>
tftp://<domain>/<path>/<file_name>
scp://username:password@hostname/<path>/<file_name>

Example

The following example sends the dump file to the preconfigured email address.

hostname # file debug-dump email sysdump-4200A-6-20090730-093220.tgz
