You can filter Audit Viewer data by column. You can add and remove filters from columns. You can also deactivate filters you have set, without removing them.
The filters you specified in the Audit Viewer for a .mans file are retained for that file. However, the filters specified for different .mans files in the Audit Viewer are not shared, even if the .mans files contain the same kind of audit data.
Setting up filters
Review an acquisition in the Audit Viewer. See Viewing the acquisition data .
Make sure the data you want to filter is visible in the grid. See Selecting data to review .
Click on the filter icon (
) in the column heading. The filter dialog for the column appears.Filter options depend on the type of data in the column. The sample below shows the Application Version column.

If applicable, select an operator for the filter in the operator drop-down menu (shows as
equalsin the sample). The following common filter operators may appear.Operator

equals
The filter will look for values that exactly match the value specified.
starts with
The filter will look for values that start with the value specified.
ends with
The filter will look for values that end with the value specified.
contains
The filter will look for values that contain the value specified.
does not equal
The filter will look for values that do not equal the value specified.
does not start with
The filter will look for values that do not start with the value specified.
does not end with
The filter will look for values that do not end with the value specified.
is empty
The filter will look for empty values.
is not empty
The filter will look for non-empty values.
If applicable, enter a value in the field to the right of the filter operator. Then click the large plus sign (
) to the right of the field. The filter is listed in the filter dialog box under Current Filters..png)
Repeat this step to add additional filters for the column. When multiple filters are specified for a column, all filters must be satisfied for a row to appear in the filtered data. Multiple filters are treated as conjunctive conditions.
To apply the filter, click the blue Filter button.

The Audit Viewer grid reloads to show only those rows in the grid that meet the filter criteria. The row count at the bottom of the page changes to reflect the current number of rows appearing in the grid. A funnel icon (
) in the column title indicates that the column is filtered.To close the filter dialog box, click the filter icon (
) again.
Deactivating filters

Click on the filter icon in the column heading. The filter dialog box for the column appears.
Remove the check mark to the left of the filter you want to deactivate in the Current Filters area.

To apply the updated filter, click the Filter button.
The Audit Viewer grid reloads to show only those rows in the grid that meet the filter criteria. The row count at the bottom of the page changes to reflect the current number of rows appearing in the grid.
To close the filter dialog box, click the filter icon again.
Deleting filters

Make sure the data you are filtering is visible in the grid. See Selecting data to review .
Click on the filter icon (

To completely remove all filters for a column, click Delete all in the upper right corner of the Current Filters section.
To apply the updated filter, click the Filter button.

The Audit Viewer grid will reload to show only those rows in the grid that meet any remaining filter criteria.
When all filters are removed, the Audit Viewer grid reloads to show all the data for the selected data type in the acquisition. The small funnel icon disappears from the column title, indicating that the column is no longer filtered.
The row count at the bottom of the page changes to reflect the current number of rows appearing in the grid.
To close the filter dialog box, click the filter icon again.
