To configure the IP address of the Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) server used in systems that use Distributed File System (DFS) shares, use the fmps file config wins_server command in configuration mode.
If you are using Distributed File System (DFS) shares, you need to configure the IP address of the WINS server used to resolve link targets using NetBIOS. This command enables you to specify that address.

Syntax
[no] fmps file config wins_server <ipAddress>
Parameters
no
Removes any configured IP address.
ipAddress
The IP address of the WINS server.
Example
The following example configures the specified WINS server IP address:
hostname (config) # fmps file config wins_server 10.0.0.0
