Formal compliance for IVX in 10.0.4 release

Prev Next

CC-NDcPP compliant IVX customers must reapply compliance on a VX appliance after an upgrade to 10.0.4. Reapplying compliance disables the VX Web UI, which did not make it into our 2024 product certification cycle.

Web UI support was added to VX in release 10.0.2 and customers who upgrade to 10.0.2 or later will inherit a functional Web UI by factory default.

Customers who do not run in CC-NDcPP compliance mode, or who do not reapply compliance after an upgrade to 10.0.4 are not affected.

Standard practice for CC-NDcPP compliant customers is to reapply compliance after an upgrade to a new release to ensure all new compliance criteria are asserted in the system configuration using the CLI command compliance apply standard cc-ndcpp.

In release 10.0.4 customers who opt to run the Web UI in VX despite lack of formal compliance can enable it by using the new CLI command  web webui enable. The no parameter will disable the Web UI [no] web webui enable. This command is available only on VX appliances.

For CC-NDcPP customers who use the VX Web UI while not formally certified, note that the VX Web UI management functions are the same functions that are certified on our other Network Security and Email Security — Server products.
