Identifying the IIS logging type

To determine or change the log format IIS is using:

  1. From the Server Manager ,open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager page is displayed.

  2. Select the required site and then click Logging.

    The logging information such as, log path and log format for the site is displayed. The module supports W3C and IIS log formats. If any other format is selected, the information is not sent to the destination server correctly.
