Installs a Trellix appliance boot image file on the specified boot partition.

Syntax

image install image_namelocation {1 | 2}

image install image_nameverify {ignore-sig | require-sig}

image install image_nameprogress {track | no-track}

Parameters

image_name

Name of the appliance boot image to be installed.

location {1 | 2}

Number of the boot partition (1 or 2) where you want to install the image. You cannot install an appliance boot image on the active (last) partition. By default, the image is installed on the inactive (next) partition. To identify the current active partition, refer to show images.

verify {ignore-sig | require-sig}

Image verification options for installation:

  • ignore-sig—Ignore missing or invalid image signature.

  • require-sig—Require the image to have a valid signature to be installed.

progress {track | no-track}

Image progress tracking options during installation:

  • track—Override the CLI default and track installation progress. Sub-options:

    • location {1 | 2}

    • verify {ignore-sig | require-sig}

  • no-track—Override the CLI default and do not track installation progress. Sub-options:

    • location {1 | 2}

    • verify {ignore-sig | require-sig}

Examples

The following example installs the specified appliance boot image on partition 2.

hostname # image install 4.2.0.69220.img location 2  

The following example tracks installation of the specified appliance boot image on partition 2.

hostname # image install 4.2.0.69220.img progress track location 2
