Import zone settings from a CSV file as is or edit the data before importing it.
Export a CSV file of zone settings from one Trellix ESM so that it can be imported to another Trellix ESM.
Open the zone settings CSV file that you want to import.
An import zone definition file contains 8 columns: Command, Zone Name, Parent Name, Geo Location, Default, IPStart, and IPStop.
An import device to zone assignment file contains 3 columns: Command, Device Name, and Zone Name.
Enter commands in the Command column to specify the action to be taken for each line when it is imported.
add— Import the data in the line as it is.edit— (Zone definition file only) Import the data with changes made to the data.Note
To change a subzone range, remove the existing range, then add the range with the changes. You can't edit the subzone range directly.
remove— Delete the zone matching this line from the Trellix ESM.
Save your changes and close the file.
From the dashboard, click

and select Asset Manager.Select the Zone Management tab.
Click Import, then select CSV as the import file type.
Import zone definition file - includes settings for zones and their corresponding subzones
Import device to zone assignment file - includes devices and zones assigned to those devices
Click OK, then locate the file to be imported and click Upload.
The system indicates detected errors in the file.
If there are errors, correct the information and try again.
Roll out the changes to update the devices.
